APHRS-EHRA Immersion (Observership) Program 2026
Applications are now open for a 2-week Observership Program at EHRA-certified electrophysiology training centres in Europe, offered in conjunction with the EHRA 2026 Congress in Paris (12-14 April). A travel grant of USD 5,000 and complementary registration for the EHRA 2026 Congress will be provided to support successful applicants for undertaking the observership.
Participants may undertake the observership either before or after the EHRA 2026 Congress by arrangement and discussion with their host centres. As the timeframe is short and approval processes may take time; if coordinating with the EHRA 2026 Congress is not possible, participants are welcome to complete the observership independent of the EHRA 2026 Congress.
This program is made possible with the financial support of BIOTRONIK.
Application Criteria:
- Must be a Regular Member of APHRS.
- Must be a currently practicing electrophysiologist based in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Must have prior experience implanting cardiac rhythm devices and performing ablations.
Participant Responsibilities:
- It is the responsibility of participants to complete all necessary paperwork and approvals with the host training centre.
- Should you fail to complete formalities with the designated host training centre within 3 months of our offer, this offer will be withdrawn and deemed invalid.
- Participants are responsible for making their own visa, travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Upon completion of the observership period, candidates are required to submit a written report to the APHRS Office describing their experience and how it will help enhance their current practice at their hospital.
